Dr. Pierre C. Malo MD's Vein Clinic has been established in Victoria since 1995. Sclerotherapy is the still the gold standard for the treatment of leg vessels: medication injected into the veins causes them to collapse and eventually disappear over a two to four week period.  Not just a cosmetic treatment, this simple office procedure can also relieve the pain, fatigue, and swelling caused by varicose veins. Even larger, deeper varicose veins can be eliminated without surgery.  Some vein disease however, is too severe and may require more than simple injections.  Dr. Malo will review all available options and help you select which treatment is best for you. His complete examination and history of your vein disease will help him determine the best course of treatment.  Dr. Malo strongly believes that a dupplex ultrasound examination is essential for the diagnosis and treatment most vein disease.
